The best method of finding places to camp that I’ve found is to use an app called iOverlander.
As you can see from the below image I use a few different apps when I’m outdoorsing.
My go-to app is iOverlander though, it shows you wild camping sites such as BLM land. You can actually view locations via their website without installing the app.
Check out how I filter on the app, the wild camping filter shows BLM and free camping locations. Wild camping, where the water is, where can I shower and the tourist attractions along the way are my priority concerns.
