After purchasing a 4 strip LED light kit, I was disappointed the cable length was too short to run two strips on either side of the car. I decided to make my own!
At first, I couldn’t find black wired LED strips, ended up purchasing white wire LED strips… the white strip is not waterproof, the black strip is!! 🙂
Here are some of the parts that were purchased to build the custom LED RGBWW lighting system.
- WIFI smart Switch
- LED Light Strip
- 12MM 5PIN LED Strip Connector Kit with 16.4FT Extension Cable
- 5Pin 12MM RGBw 5050 LED Light Strip Solderless Connector Adapter
The bad part is now that I have done this, I want to add a few more strips and WIFI switches to have more lights in the car that are hidden to the eye.
Since I connected this to my 12-port Fuse Box, I needed some 12v power connectors that helped this installation go flawless.
