In my quest for good 3d scans, I think this is the ideal scanning machine for the Lizard.
Right now I am using a Razer Blade 15 Advanced when using my Creality Lizard. see specs below. The thing is, when doing scans and keeping below 2000 points it takes some time to process initially but not bad. When I scan over 3000 and closer to 5000 points in one scan it takes forever!!! Even on a machine that can run solid works and premiere pro while editing a 4k video. The slowness in processing, that’s just from new project, then scan before even getting to make a first save.

Razer Blade 15 Advanced Model – OLED 4K Touch 60Hz – GeForce RTX 3080
I went on a quest to find a mini pc that’s as powerful or more powerful without breaking the bank and I found this Beelink!
UPDATE 4/15/2023 –
On Amazon, they are redirecting the link to the GTR5 to the SER6, PAY CLOSE ATTENTION AS ITS A LITTLE TRICKY TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE BUYING THE RIGHT UNIT.
Beelink 5900HX GR9 GTR5 Mini PC Windows 11, AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX (up to 4.6GHz), Mini Gaming Computer 32GB DDR4 500GB NVMe SSD, 4K@60Hz Triple Display HDMI&DP&Type-C 54W WiFi6E BT5.2 Dual 2.5Gbps LAN

There is a 32GB, 500GB version that’s less than $900 but they are sold out
I recently purchased a portable screen that would be perfect for this, it’s just not a touch screen!

Sure you can use a mouse and keyboard but I think a touchscreen display would be perfect!
That said, this mini pc should perform better than my Razer laptop and once I find a nice portable battery unit, the goal is to have the ability to 3d scan anything and anywhere without needing to search for an outlet!
