If you ever have fuel meter issues… this is my suggestion.
Instructions:
- Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface, both front to back and side to side.
- Turn the ignition on and verify that “Trip A” is displayed on the odometer.
- Power down the vehicle.
- Keep your foot off the brake pedal.
- Press and hold down the Odo/Trip button.
- Press the Power button twice to turn the vehicle to IgOn mode (not Ready mode).
- Quickly turn the Odo/Trip button off and then back on three times within five seconds.
- Continue holding down the Odo/Trip button until a 6-digit code appears on the display.
- Release the Odo/Trip button, then press and hold it again for another 5 seconds. The 6-digit code will change to a 5-digit code.
- When the middle digit of the 5-digit code changes to “1”, release the Odo/Trip button. The odometer will return to its normal reading.
