Well, it’s finally here, the Toyota Prius Trunk Inside Push Button Release Plug and Play Kit for an easy no-cutting of OEM wiring install kit.
Well, after a longer period of time than I personally wanted, the Plug and Play kit to add an interior hatch release button is here. When I installed the button on my Prius, there was some cutting of the OE wiring to make this push button work, but not anymore! Many folks have asked me about this and I am proud to say here it is! The part of the install with the most labor is drilling a hole for the push button, I am looking into injection molding and the possibilty of including the lastic part predrilled its just i feel like there are different color interiori panels…. need to do some more investigations to see how feesalble this would be.
