The tri-fold mattress I purchase when I 1st started driving around the country worked for a while but eventually, I need something a little thicker.
During my trip to Big Ben in Texas, I ended up finding a 2″ Full mattress topper and I just put that inside of my prius then put the Tri-fold mattress on top of it. I did initially purchase big craft scissors to cut while in Texas but they don’t work. You need a foam cutter. For the rest of the trip and months after I slept very plush and eventually trimmed the excess memory foam away.
Fast forward a few months and I wanted more thickness and I got it! one more 2″ mattress topper feels amazing! Sure, I am closer to the ceiling but for certain trips id take one topper out and for others, I’d be triple-thick in the rear! hahaha
The bottom layer is a vented mattress topper.
